Ray grew up in France and Mel grew up in Bangladesh. We met in the United States and immediately bonded over our cross-cultural lives. We married in 2007 with hopes to move back overseas soon. That dream was a long time in realization....the timing was just never right. In the meantime we settled in Pennsylvania, USA. Among other things, we learned how to be married, to enjoy four seasons, to appreciate American conveniences and how to find God in the world's richest country! At the end of May 2011, Mel was asked to teach 6th grade at Grace International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. So within two months we sold almost everything, said goodbye to family and friends and moved halfway around the world. And that's where this blog starts....
